Nature is the founder and creative heart behind Southern Chats, a thoughtfully curated brand centered around connection, tradition, and meaningful keepsakes. With a background in small business ownership, customer relations, and community-focused work, she brings a warm and refined approach to everything she creates. For nearly a decade, Nature owned Charlie James & Company, where she managed branding, customer experience, and boutique retail operations while building lasting relationships with customers across the country. Prior to that, she spent 15 years at a respected CPA firm, developing strong ties within the local business community.

Originally from California and raised in South Florida, Nature draws inspiration from family traditions, gracious entertaining, elegant design, and the beauty of preserving life’s meaningful moments. She especially loves entertaining her large family, traveling, reading, cooking and decorating for the holidays (probably a little too much)!

Marina brings a unique blend of creativity, communication expertise, and digital marketing experience to Southern Chats. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Florida Atlantic University and a Master of Science in Communication from Lynn University, combining artistic vision with strategic communication and branding expertise. Over the past several years, Marina has specialized in the online sale of luxury goods, merchandising, and social media marketing. Her background also includes theater education, costume and set design, public speaking, and directing youth theater productions. This creative foundation brings originality, strong visual storytelling, and attention to detail to every project she undertakes. Marina’s combined experience in branding, visual design, digital marketing, and creative communication continues to help Southern Chats expand its presence online while maintaining its thoughtful and elevated aesthetic.

Marina loves spending time with friends, traveling, volunteering and teaching her Sunday school class.
